Pied Piper Thanksgiving
Danny Brandt, a senior vocational student at Pied Piper Opportunity Center, prepares his plate with the help of his mother, Tammy Brandt of Harrisville. Each year, students in Leann Larue’s senior vocational class prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for their parents. Larue said because students don’t always understand what being thankful is, preparing the dinner is their way of showing they’re thankful.

Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary staff have confirmed the identity of a shipwreck that was discovered near Harrisville.
The wreck has been identified as the schooner John L. Shaw.
