Heather Wirgau and Todd LaHaie, both of Alpena, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sharon and Dean Wirgau of 9452 Long Rapids Road, Alpena. Her fiance is the son of Martin and Cyndi LaHaie of 615 S. Fifth, Alpena.

Heather is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed by Walmart. Todd is a 2006 ACES Academy graduate and is employed by Gen-Ars Restaurant.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows July 31, 2010, in Alpena.
